Horizon Festival - InPlace
Lead artist and Visual Co-Ordinator
As part of the Horizon Festival I was responsible for creating an interactive Augment Reality trail using the EyeJack app throughout the region of Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. Collaborating with 5 visual artists to animate their works and generate an immersive experience. Overseeing associated public workshops surrounding the technology and it's application for the Festival. [In]Place draws on the creative output of five visual artists who have worked in collaboration with experienced animator Helena Papageorgiou to transform their work into an interactive motion experience, supported by the Eye Jack app.
Exploring the fluid nature of the environment, both individually and collectively, the [In]Place artists search for presence, transition and transformation through AR play.
The five visual artists are: Kellie O’Dempsey, Pamela See, Claire Matthews, Carley Cornelissen James Muller
