’Frank Poole’s Dream’

Coming Soon - New Music Video with the legend Martin Kennedy for his new project the Observers.

“Frank Poole’s Dream” is an animated clip for the outfit Observers produced by animator, Helena Papageorgiou, and illustrator, Jon Weber. Joining forces to create the entirety of the clip, they looked to utilize classic anime and animated film techniques such as traditionally painted backgrounds and assets to give the clip an authentic and classic feel. Working off of the conceptual imagery and thematic elements from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, Papageorgiou and Weber twisted the material into a parallel narrative of a surreal quality that investigates the world at large’s wrestling with the ramifications of AI tech and heedless consumerism.
